Parents and educators are responsible from day one at home and at school paving the way and laying the foundation for children and teenagers to step into in order to find their best success.
These are also the most exhausting and underpaid roles that any adult can take in the lives of those placed in their care. The reward comes in the form of launching those in our homes and schools one step closer to discovering what they were created for. The truth is that in our pursuit of being the parent and educator our children and teenagers need, we often feel....
...alone, ill equipped, and exhausted
Our mission at Systems of Support is to be the lead encourager for those investing in the children and teenagers in their home, school, and office. To be a source of encouragement and equipper of strategies that make a difference.
The world is getting complicated. So much to navigate and the competition for attention is full throttle.
As a parent or caregiver, teacher, counselor, or school administrator, we have been given the task of being our very best for those we love.
We expect their best, so we need to give our best.
Most courses, conferences, and consultations feel like 80% problem admiration, 10% chit chat, and barely 10% actual problem solving.
We jump in with resources that have bridged the gap from idea to implementation in real homes and schools around the glob. They are grounded in research and ready to make a difference.
To support the fastest uptake of innovative strategies that make a difference, all online and in-person resources are structured according to our 3 step evidence-based learning principles.
Step 1: I do - Our team have implemented the strategies and not just read about them. With years of family support, student intervention, classroom teaching, and district initiatives under our belt, we are providing guidance and support for what we have done ourselves and have the outcomes to show for it.
Step 2: We do - We detest "sit and get" experiences. The ones where you sit and listen to someone drone on and on hoping that the stories and words will sink in. We are by your side all along the way. Our courses let you revisit the content when you are ready or when you need to review it again. We are available to help expand on the idea so you can step forward in confidence at your home or in your classroom.
Step 3: You do - Our responsibility is to work ourselves out of a job. We are not here to keep you here, we are here to launch you forward into your next step of success.
Bridging the gap between research and practice. Taking what has evidence that makes a difference and communicating it in a way that can be easily implemented.
From online/anytime access to carefully articulated strategies that have been used in the real world to live events where people can be equipped and encouraged.
In person and online conference calls, team meetings, and lunch&learns.

From consults to keynotes to online PD, my work centers on engaging those who raise, teach, and intervene with children and teenagers. All through sharing education & intervention strategies that work at the individual student level to large-scale systems change.
My degrees in psychology, social work, and education are important, & having peer-reviewed publications, podcasts, and being featured on NBC, FOX, and ParentTV are meaningful. But the real credibility comes from having been in the trenches doing the work that I equip others to do. From being in the classroom to having led a large mental health practice, what we do together comes from "doing" and not just "knowing".
From conferences to keynotes to staff retreats, Jason frequently communicates to audiences around the globe. Equally comfortable in online and in-person formats, Jason engages the participants through humor with an emphasis on sharing tools and strategies you can immediately implement. Send an email to info@systemsofsupport to inquire about your opportunity. Please note: there is limited availability to speak at in-person events for 2024-2025.
Jason joins with teams to help them accomplish the goals of the organization. Schools, districts, clinics, and churches, Jason helps bring clarity to the desired outcomes and identifies how he may be a benefit to the process.
Jason is not currently taking any private counseling clients. He is available for consultation support to assist in taking the next step forward in your home, classroom, and schools. To schedule a consultation session, please click here.
Both! The first 10 years of my career was in education in roles from classroom teacher, behavior interventionist, to learning & behavior consultant working with student, teacher, and district level initiatives. The last 10 years of my work has been leading a large mental health counseling practice guiding a team of counselors, social workers, marriage & family therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Having extensive experience and degrees in education and mental health has provided Jason the unique viewpoint to know both sides of the fence in helping children and teenagers succeed.
The best way to connect is here. Due to the volume of emails received each day, it is difficult to respond in a timely fashion to each request. Thank you for your patience. Please note this contact form is not a substitute for direct clinical care or crisis support.
